Eco Ocean

Eco Ocean frames are made from recycled ocean plastic, because plastic has no place in the ocean. Eco teamed up with the NGO Waste Free Oceans to source old ropes from the maritime industry found in the ocean and on shorelines. The waste material is shredded and molded into pellets which in turn are injection molded into frames. The collection consists of bold yet easy-to-wear frames. They are lightweight and super comfortable with a smooth, matte finish in ocean-inspired shades. Each frame comes in a case made from recycled PET fabric.

LastSwab

LastSwab is a reusable and sustainable alternative to single-use cotton swabs. LastSwab is designed to be used up to a thousand times and to be easy to use, easy to clean, and most importantly designed to feel like the ones we are used to using. LastSwab is made in two versions, a Basic version to replace the purpose of a cotton swab, and a Beauty version with an angled tip made for correcting make-up. Both come in a carrying case made from recycled ocean-bound plastic, which is also the material used for the rod of the swab.

Briiv

Briiv is a new take on the air purifier. Using renewable and natural materials to filter the air in your home or office environment, briiv creates clean, safe, breathable air via an innovative filter system. briiv’s filters of moss, coconut husk and a silk-carbon matrix perform as effectively as an air purifier of the same low-power class. The filter media are compostable and briiv connects to smart home applications for control and to monitor usage for replacement filters.

Olive

Olive is a wiki site that gathers and shares practical knowledge during a disaster. The project was named Olive, derived from the letter O (an emblem of the Japanese national flag) + Live (to live on). Ideas were quickly gathered with help from worldwide, on how to build necessities to survive in affected areas without the supplies. It achieved over one million page views within three weeks. It is still expanding today as a database of disaster countermeasures using collective intelligence.

Warehouse 20 21 22 23

As an appreciation to the historical structure, the purpose of Historical Workshop Reappearance design was not only to preserve but also to spotlight the structure by drawing attention to the historical element. The architect uses new steel frames that outline the space protects the original structure, and with lighting design also exhibits the structure, making the space an exhibition for the industrial architecture itself. The project brings a modern characteristic to the space that creates an overlapping relationship between modern and industrial.

Gaojia Garden

Gaojia Garden is situated in quiet woods by the canal under Gongchen Bridge in Hangzhou. The corridor is designed by combining both new and old elements to create an art and culture corridor. The design of the Nanhua Building is to respect history and preserve original design elements left by combing with modern design techniques and modern forms of manifestation. A tea house in the Republic of China era takes shape.
