Continue readingPet-Tree is a vertical eco gardening system made from recycled PET containers. The design consists of structural plastic pieces and PET pots that are combined to form a tree-like shape. The system also has a built in water circulation system, and it harvests rainwater while feeding plants through drip irrigation. The project allows space-starved urban gardeners to grow a wide range of plants, and it’s a great option for organic growers.
Continue readingFestival Village was designed as the social hub of Festival of the World, a summer arts festival organised by London's Southbank Centre in 2012. The space was designed and built collaboratively. Over 200+ staff and local volunteers worked together using 5+ tons of reclaimed materials to deliver the project. The space performed multiple functions from rehearsal space to dining space and from meeting space to touchdown workspace. Southbank Centre described Festival Village as "a demonstration of the power of what can be achieved when people work together to create something new".
Continue readingThis project is focused upon the design of the new concept of a punching tool that is able to make a hole large enough for a coin. This ability gives this project its unique edge and innovative design. With this punching tool, we are able to produce our own coin boxes by ourselves using empty bottles. These can then be used as donation boxes, with the money we save being donated to the third world. It is not only a tool for giving money, but also for sharing our love with one another. After donation, donors can receive feedback via UNICEF, such as photos and letters, from the people.
